Our guide to historic landmarks includes SC historic sites, homes, buildings, and monuments. Two Forms of Organization. Twenty-four of our historic sites are directly supervised by our Division of Historic Sites. Three additional historic properties -- the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington, Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo and Tryon Palace in New Bern -- are supervised by our agency, but have independent boards and commissions that assist us in their operation.
